how is Restylane different from Botox?
Restylane is injected into the skin to decrease lines or add fullness. Botox is injected into the muscle to decrease muscle contraction. in what areas can Restylane be used?
Restylane can be used to fill in lines and wrinkles on the face such as between the eyebrows, on the forehead, the crow's feet, nasolabial folds (from lip to mouth), marionette lines, and lip lines. It can also be used to add definition to the border of the lip, or to fill in acne scars. Perlane is a thicker filler similar to Restylane that can be used for facial contouring, such as cheek or lip augmentation.

what are the side effects of Restylane injections?
It is normal after Restylane treatments to have redness, swelling, pain or tenderness lasting for a few days. Restylane is very safe, but in a small percentage of people, the temporary effects of redness, swelling, and tenderness can last for several weeks.
